Terms of Service

These terms apply to orders placed with Patterson Print Shops through pattersonprintshop.com or at any of our locations.

Orders and payment

An order is accepted when payment or an approved deposit is received. Prices shown online are for the specifications selected; quantity, material or size changes will re-price the job. Sales tax is applied where required.

Proofs and approval

We provide a digital proof on most custom work. Your approval is final. Once you approve a proof we print exactly what it shows, including any spelling, layout or color already present in it. If you waive the proof, you accept the file as supplied.

Artwork you supply

You confirm you own the rights to any logo, image or text you send us, or have permission to reproduce it. We will decline work that appears to infringe a trademark or copyright. Low-resolution files will print at the quality supplied.

Color

Screens are backlit and printers are not. Color will vary between your monitor and the finished piece, and between separate print runs. We match as closely as the process allows; exact color matching requires a press proof, available on request at additional cost.

Turnaround

Production times begin after proof approval and payment, not at the time of order. Quoted turnaround excludes shipping transit. Rush service is available at additional cost.

Customer-supplied goods

If you supply garments or materials for us to decorate, you accept the risk of spoilage. Printing and embroidery occasionally damage a piece. We do not replace or reimburse customer-supplied goods and ask that you provide extras. A signed waiver is required at checkout.

Quantity tolerance

On large decorated runs, delivery within 3% over or under the ordered quantity constitutes a complete order. You are billed for the quantity delivered.

Pickup and abandoned orders

Completed orders held longer than 60 days without pickup may be disposed of and are not refundable.

Returns

Custom printed work is not returnable. See our Returns & Refunds policy.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to reprinting the order or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for consequential losses, including missed events or lost business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Orders produced at our Bridgeview, Illinois location are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
